I just bought (3 weeks ago) a similar year Barrique Red 325i.

I plan on using those same factory wheels with a set of Blizzak winter tires and then buying a set of aftermarket or 330i sport wheels with performance rubber for the summer.

Maybe these,

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tww-50622/overview/ with some Micheline Sport Pilot tires.

Also, I'd stick with the stock grill. I like the early E90 look (I may be among the minority with that opinion). I feel that BMW took a step back, towards a more conservative E36-like grill, with the later E90's.

The "all black" look is played as far as I'm concerned and white on a black car would be ghastly IMHO.

Be proud of your stock "Guy Fawkes" mustache grill. Vive la difference !

I did my winter set rims in PlastiDip white. Looks pretty good to start but man do they get dirty/ugly fast. The dust set in on them pretty quicky. I haven't tried to hand scrub them since I put them on however. The few times I've seen black dipped wheels, I was very unimpressed and they get dirty just as fast (less noticeable compared to white of course).

For grill you can get black ones on eBay for around $50. May be doing that soon!

Usually dirt's glued on w/various oily organics.

But a plasti-dip can have electrostatic charge, very welcoming to fines attraction. Remove with an electrostatic cleaning machine.

the good thing about plastidip is if you don't like it, it's easy to change vs painting. I tested my rims with a similar product to see if I liked it before I took the time to paint them

Yeah, now the whole wheel just looks dull and black.

(Admission: I'm an old guy that just doesn't get the dull black look, and I hate texting.)
