640i GC Individual Ordered

Hello All,

I am excited to announce that I ordered my 640i GC for ED and plan to pick it up on March 11. The car is already in production and I am about week or so away from signing the lease paperwork. I wanted to check if the February rates and incentives are any better than what I was locked in back in December. The base MF was 0.00125 and 54% residual for 36mo 15K lease. I believe what I see now is that the base MF has been reduced to 0.00090 with $3500 lease credit and $750 loyalty cash (same as holiday cash and loyalty cash in December).

My question is, can someone confirm the February numbers? If so, should I now be able to go to the CA and ask them to redo the paperwork? I am sure they will hustle and would give me a hard time but if I know for sure that the new MF is 0.00090, with ED adder and their markup, I know where I need to be at (also doing multiple MSDs to bring it down by 0.00049).

My specs are:

640i Black Sapphire
Individual Composition
- Full Mernio Brown Leather
- Headliner in upholstery color
- Luxury package
- Premium Sound package
- Soft close doors

Why would you sign the lease paperwork so early? I would not sign it more than one week before the date of ED. They're squeezing a month's lease payment from you without you actually using the car!

BMW ED Delivery requests that payment must be made about 10 to 14 days in advance. On the WiKi it says a week before delivery but BMW ED emailed me stating that it will be 10 to 14 days. So 14 days puts me right at 02/25 (February is a short month). I plan to sign the paperwork sometime between 02/18 and 02/24 just to be safe in case if there is an issue. 1 week's of extra payment is worth the peace of mind for me on a $91K car.

I just wanted to make sure you know, I am not saying you should do anything about it, but the 2014's with the new idrive system start production the first week of March. If your car is already in production chances are it didn't make the cut.

You are leasing, so it's not like you are going to take a hit on resale value, but I just wanted to notify just in case you didn't know.

It shouldn't matter to them to redo the paperwork, they don't lose any money by using Feb numbers over December.

Yep, I know that the new iDrive system will be part of the 6GC on all March productions. My car is already in production with completion date of 02/19. I contemplated delaying production in March but the uncertainity around the Holiday Cash and Loyalty bonus continuing or not made me just stick to a production slot that was given to me. Besides, I know the guts of the new iDrive are much improved however it wasnt worth it for me to play the waiting game. There could always be something newer out there, like soft trunk close

Sounds great. Can't wait to see pictures. I went for the Individual leather interior this time, too, and couldn't be more pleased.

Thanks. Yes I love the contrast stitching and everything being wrapped with fine leather. I hope the combo looks good and isn't too brown inside. Couldn't go with anything lighter, have two little ones and I didn't want to worry about cleaning their shoe prints often!

I love the Canyon Brown. I've always had Black interior, so this was a departure for me. It's still dark and goes well with the black leather and dark headliner. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of initially was the white piping on the seats, but I've even grown to really like it.

What wood did you choose? That was the hardest decision for me.

I ended up choosing piano black. Everyone says it shows finger prints and hard to keep clean but I like the look with Amaro Brown. Black car int easy to keep clean so black trim wouldn't make me of a difference.

Yeah, I was hesitant about Piano Black for that very reason. I went with Canyon Brown instead of Amaro, but both are stunning.
