Official E34 Off Topic Thread

I had a couple e38s, a '95 740il followed by a '98 750il with the M-Pars. Excellent cars, I too would be pretty tempted by a short sport. I have two manual trans vehicles right now, I am fighting desperately not to go autotragic in any of my vehicles if at all possible

I've found several within my price range and yes I saw transpo's e38.
Very jelly...

The issue I've found is finding a true M sport.
Most either have the mpars and baseline trans, everything but engine or trans is shot.
Or are listed as a M sport and have nothing related to a Msport but place the words "sport" in the ad titles.

Hopefully I'll fine one.
If anyone's in Tulsa,OK and bought that M sport off Coparts for 2k....

2 of my 3 are fun pedal'd and the automagic is my big fat sweet'n low... some sundays is nice to sit back and enjoy the magic that is the bmw M50 VANOS...

I'm selling my E28 and am considerig an X5 as the inly replacement thats allowed to have an automatic. The other option is a 6spd E90.

My brother was driving a 328 x-drive manual for a while. Sweet little car. Then in a massive brain fart he buys a new Camaro, with a V6... and autotragic. His wife ends up with a new 535 x-drive. Somebody is making some bank round that house I am thinkin. Better yet, he bumps the Camaros back wheel off the curb and his solution isn't... aaahhhh... buy winter tires? No, he buys a used Durango, pretty much just for snowy days.

Good to see him getting a turn, lord knows I took mine Good to see you going for it as well.

'06 2500, Hemi, six speed manual. Big Horney edition so it has bad fake woodgrain, built in sirius radio, fog lights, one broken, part in transit. I just love the big Moose, finding a clean one with a manual was some sort of act of God, so we went for it. This is my seventh 3rd gen HD Dodge, second Hemi. I really like these trucks.

Those things are total monsters. Its unbelievable what a plug and play and a couple bolt ons will do for the torque output in that

Sorry Chaps, busy day at work, and had my 21st on the weekend so havent been here as much over the last week. Was catching up on Top Gear UK today

No cummins, no need for $100 oil changes, or the $1/gal premium for diesel over gas. My wife didn't want a stinky diesel either, which is fine because I have owned several of those already. The gas HEMI is plenty powerful, much quieter, and much less expensive to own. I like it

All you manual drivers, when you shift, does your clutch foot pivot on your heel to depress and release the clutch? or does your leg sort of float with the pedal in and out?

lol well technically im still 20, my real birthday isnt until 9th March, but Feburary is the best month of the year for weather so i had it early to lock in a good day. today is/was the first clouded over day for close on three weeks.
Im often told im a lot older than my physical age, mostly because of what i achieved so much younger than other people.

well since the e24 board is "DEAD" i think i will show you guys my new project. this is a 1979 6. when this car came from the factory it was sent straight to Callaway for a turbo and suspension upgrade. the window sticker (which i have ) shows a base price of $29,000.00 plus a $13,000.00 add for the callaway upgrade. i have every document that pertains to service, part changes everuthing done to car up till when it was parked in 2001.

Thats a few pegs better than my Premium pack E90 lolz, and the sticker price isnt far off either!!! You, my friend, have quite the taste in cars. I never even heard of that.
