Vacuum pump hose
I noticed a long pencil thin hose that runs from the vacuum pump on passenger side to drivers side under intake box....it's split in half. I feel pulsating air spitting out at the rhythm of the lifter noise. I have noticed fluctuating idle past couple months along with hesitation. Could this be the culprit?

Yea brakes working fine except sometimes it revs high when coming to a stop. Also feels like brakes suddenly grasping the rotor which causes to stop abruptly.

Could it be the vacuum hose for exhaust flap?

I'm not too too familiar with engines so what exactly is an exhaust flap?
Are you saying my split hose is the vacuum hose that leads to the exhaust flap which is what's causing my hesitation/idle issues? I'm just waiting for a mechanic friend of mine to come over next week to replace that hose and check if there are other hoses/lines that need to be replaced. |
