F30 335 - Oil Cooler Availability?
So long story short, I know from my E92 experience and from being around here from the early E90 days that the presence of an oil cooler on the E9x 335 models was determined by (a) MT vs AT on early models, and (b) presence of Sport or M Sport package, and (c) presence of 18" wheels with summer tires vs. 17" wheels with all-seasons... as the summer tire option gave you the "increased top speed limiter" option that was tied to the oil cooler.
So... what's the story on F30? I'm about the pull the trigger on an order for a F30 335xi with MT and M Sport and want to know if an oil cooler is standard, optional based on my specs, or not available at all. I have seen a few posts that suggest that some cars have it, so I'm not sure if it is optional or now standard. What option, if any, do I have to order to get it? Summer tires? or 19" wheels with summer tires? Or do they all have it now?

Bump....
No one has any info on this? Wow! If anyone has looked into this, I'd appreciate any knowledge you have on this. I know there was some confusion initially on the E90 and once people figured out what options they had to click to get it, it made things pretty easy so it would be nice to know what the story is for F30.

All F30 335 have an oil cooler, regardless of line or configuration.

the msport package also adds in the aux radiator in the drivers wheel well (like the original PPK)

Ok, I had seen something about an extra radiator with M sport and got that confused with the oil cooler. Very interesting. I guess this explains the deletion of fog lights on the US M Sports?

Exactly. They removed the fog lights for better cooling.

probably after the whole e90 oil cooler mess and the litigation happy US they decided to play it safe and max out air flow. RoW still gets fogs with their MSport. my 2010 with PPK had the aux radiator, high output rad fan and some different ducting to get more air to the oil cooler and rad, but still had fogs.
