3 carseats in backseat?
Has anyone fit 3 carseats in the backseat of their X5? I will have a 4 yr old, a 2 yr old, and an infant, so two forward facing and one rear facing seat.
Also, can any car seat go in the 3rd row? |

I have had 3 forward facing booster seats in the 2nd row. It's tight but possible. Never had a rear facing with two fronts though. I have had boosters in the 3rd row but it does not have the "latch" system.

I also have 3 car seats in the 2nd row. 2 booster seats and 1 forward facing car seat . It's a bit tight but not that bad.

I hadn't been able to safely get more than two boosters or carseats in the 2nd row. Too tight of s fit and difficult to buckle the boosters.

3 as well here. One booster and two forward facing car seats. Tight but doable.

I had three Radian 80 car seats, all facing forward, first in an X3 and then in an X5. I now have two of the car seats and a Clek booster in the X5. For the booster, I use an 11 inch rigid seat belt extender, which makes it possible (the Clek uses the latches to stay in place when no one is sitting in it).
At one point I had the two forward car seats along with a rear facing Peg Perego infant seat in the X3, so I'm sure that setup would work in the 5. Last edited by Clam_Alert; 02-18-2013 at 06:03 AM. |
