Z3 spoiler

Hi all.

I have about two months before driving season and would like to get my front spoiler cleaned up. I have rebuilt other vehicles from the ground up, but have done nothing besides seat and top replacement on my z3. I am thinking about taking the spoiler off, and into a body shop for cleanup of a few dings and paint. Any do's or dont tips re: removal, or on paint matchup. (there is a BMW bodyshop in town that could get me the mix for the paintcode). Trying to get this done in the "offseason" to not miss any drive time.

K.
