Annoying noise from backseat perhaps....

When I go over bumps (that are relatively deeper) I hear these creaking noise from backseats (it appears so) and but just can't replicate those noises when I wiggle these seats back/forth/sideways while the SUV is standing. While driving when the rear axles are on uneven level along with bad roads, i hear that creaking noise for sure
It seams to be growing everyday now....Any idea ????

Some owners have had issues with the cargo cover creaking. A reseating of the cargo cover, or the strategic placement of felt pads, has usually resolved the problem.

I took out the cargo cover to see if it was the problem - no the noise still exists. Something to do with backseats- that's my good guess.

Sometimes it's the tailgate that clacks over its bumpstops.

Do you make your wife sit in the backseat too?

We have the same noise in ours. Seems to go away when someone is sitting back there.

Been too cold lately for me to tackle the source however.

I had similar issue. I was told it was some seat belt mechanism in the B pillar. They opened the part, stuffed some foam between the mechanism and the body and the sound disappeared.

Take it to your dealer. They will fix it in a few hours.

Yes, this worked for me last weekend. WD40 was used and applied with a rag.
