2005 prices are in for e46 sedan

I just got a copy of the full prices sheet for e46 sedans. I will post it later if I can, but to be honest it's pretty straight forward. It appears that all the options are staying the exact same price (both MSRP and invoice) as for 2004 except for the premium package. For the 325i, the premium package will include only BMW Assist, auto-dimming mirror, power memory seats, OBC, and now lumbar support. The price will be $2300/2095 invoice. ED invoice went up $1010 (but this includes moonroof and myrtle/aluminum now), and MSRP went up $1200, as we already knew.

There do not appear to be any new packages or options to speak of, at least for the sedans, except for lumbar with the premium package.

Other prices might be in as well, but I received this info because I have a 2005 325i on order for ED.

Great news. Can't wait for pricing so I can order ED for Nov delivery. Getting closer now.

I already placed my order for Nov. 3 Euro Delivery. I negotiated the "profit" above ED invoice and invoice on the options. Now that the prices are in, I can configure it exactly, but it's close to what I planned anyway. I was going to get moonroof, which was $955 invoice price, and the car went up $1010 ED invoice, so it's an effective $55 price increase for me since moonroof is standard for 2005.

I'm just waiting now for my production number, which I expect sometime in November, then I'll finalize the options.

Since there is a model change coming up, there should be more incentives for new owners to help make the buy...so i would think one could bargain a bit "hard". What's do you folks think ?

While I tend to agree with you, I was only able to negotiate about equal to the lowest "profit" you hear of around these boards, generally. Could I have gotten it a little lower? Yeah maybe, but not much. I could also likely get a 2004 model, combined with incentives, for less; however, I wouldn't get the exact combo I want, and I wouldn't get to drive it on the autobahn. Too bad the incentives won't apply to ED.

At first I worried about getting the last model year of the e46, then I realized I really don't want the FIRST year of the e90 (or even the second, probably). Plus, I know I like this car a lot.

Nicole- I too have placed my order for ed on a 325I. Looking forward to finding out the invoice price. I am scheduled for pick up Sept 16th at this time...what about you?

Have not set date yet but most likely 1st week of Nov. Looking at 325i also. Wanted to wait for E90 but also scared of 1st yr model + getting too excited about trip. Also was thinking about 5 series but the look and size has not grown on me enough to justify extra cost. Might see you in Munich. I believe I saw that it will be your honeymoon? If so great way to start a marriage.

Could you please send me or post an offical wholesale/retail copy sheet. I can figure it out by adding amounts llisted over last years but want to go into negotiations prepared best I can.

Here's a link. It's a PDF of a scan, so it might not be that great, but you can read it. You'll probably just want to right-click and Save As to somewhere on your desktop, then look at it that way.
