Angry warning messages

Hi all,

i have got brake pad, coolant level and other warning lights last week and i gave it in a good servicing center. the guy told that he has put new brakes, filled coolant and fixed all other issues but still the lights glow and tells me to drive cautiously. he says that they dont have the system to switch off the lights

but isn't it that replacing the parts / coolant level should make the lights go off automatically? do i need to visit BMW for this?

bugger has charged me 1500 bucks but couldn't even reset the lights

also my car now starts shaking a little when in idle, could it be that he decreased the idling ?

thanks

Most warning wont go off intil they're reset by dealer or someone with proper programmer.

If your still getting the brake warning on your Idrive and it was replaced already it needs to be reset on the Idrive bmw or any specialist know how to after they install the brakes and for the coolant I'm not sure it could be that the sensor is mess up or maybe it has a bad leak that it is draining but it's probably a bad sensor in the tank and if your car is shaking while idling is because the spark plugs need to be replaced and the filters If you take it to BMW they can tell you what it to be sure

Spark plugs ? Seriously ?

He gave me a bill for 8 new spark plugs and new air filter

You can imagine how much he told he has changed for 1500 euros

Got 2 pages list of replaced parts

To be honest I think this guy either he did replace the spark plugs replaced everything else but didn't use OEM parts or he didn't repair anything man because that can be one of the problems why it starts to shake but if you look up some more threads you'll find what it is

food for taught, if you buy a used vehicle regardless of what the person says. Do the service yourself for the peace of mind, that way you will know 100% tht it is done.
