BMW Sun shades
I just bought a very mechanically maintained 2002 530i but the sun shades had been removed and for whatever reason the back arms, which appear off track get stuck up if push button. I do not know why they would remove and not disconnect switch, but has anyone replaced or removed? I am thinking I will disconnect down and just tint entire car or rear half.

it was removed because it is rare and expensive and cost $400+ to get it from ebay
