328i manual starting issue

hey guys its been over a month since my last starting issue which i have now sorted with a new ews system (chip, module and dws) and now my engine turns over where before it wouldnt but it still wont start. i believe i have fuel in the rail as i can push the bleed nipple and get fuel at the front of the rail.

now i checked the coil plugs loom plug and i get voltage in 1 pin constant but nothing at all when cranking the engine from the signal wires which makes me think crank sensors dead but i checked that and its fine, does the cam sensor also need checking (i not checked it yet not got a spare, had a spare crank sensor), i have fitted new spark plugs as the old ones looked burnt out and a set of coils that i no are good off another engine.

reason for these issues is a accidently wired a earth to the ignition wire on the starter which melted the ews module hence the new one, the new dws box matches my old one numbers wise but can these b different? really getting to the limit now with this car and getting tempted to strip it but i really want it fixed as i enjoy it so much so any ideas would be gratefully recieved, thanks Ken

just to update if anyone can help me out i checked all fuses were good and had correct power supplies and all were good.

i fitted a new crank and cam sensor and still nothing.

also did the ignition test as stated in the bently book and i have power at terminal 15 (just over 12 volts, battery was fully charged).

thinking tomorrow i will buy a new relay and try that, im getting very concerned now that i was sold a duff ecu so need to find someone who can test it or get a scanner on the car but any input would be great

Sounds dumb, but are you pushing the clutch all the way to the floor when trying to start it?
