Adaptive brake light repair/SIB
I was getting a service light for a bulb. Took my car in BMW Annapolis. They said there was a defect in the Adaptive brake light socket. They said when they get the fault code A8C3 that SIB 631407 indicates the repair is to install new sockets and bulbs on both side of the vehicle. My car is still under the CPO warranty but they said this is not a warranty item even though it was described as a "defect." I cannot find any information about this so called defect or the SIB. It was a ~$280 repair. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thanks.
