02 sensor replacement help

Hey all, so my mechanic told me that after running his code machine that my 02 sensor in my bank 1 sensor 1 needs to be replaced. Can anyone help me find this sensor? Or lead me in the right direction/advice.

My car:

Thanks

That should be posted in the E36 forum. The O2 sensor you said the mechanic said was bad is the one in front of the catalytic converter on the downpipe from the front three cylinders.

If you have trouble getting it off, you should check out this thread:

Although mine is an e30, the principles of adhesion may still apply to you.

You could go with those types of places, I like eEuroparts.com. But even places like AutoZone can order them in for you for about the same price. They might even have your O2 sensor in stock.
