BMW N52 Aluminum bolt issue
I am seriously considering the purchase of a 2007 Z4 3.0si manual. I am also seriously reconsidering based on the issue outlined here:
link My understanding is the issue was fully resolved in 2007-later, however the local indy mechanic is suggested avoiding anything earlier than 2008. Has anyone seen this issue on a 2007 N52 (or later for that matter)?_a_ |

Forget about the what if's. You'll be missing out on a wonderful great driving roadster. mid-60s forecasted here this weekend. I'm counting the minutes...

If you are afraid of mechanical problems then don't buy a Bimmer, buy a Corolla instead. No two ways about it.
You may be lucky and get an angel of a car, or find your self with a few thousands worth of maintenance issues. A good CPO or warranty may help, or you could opt for the Scion FR-S convertible that has just been shown at Geneva. |
