Mein Auto: BMW X5
Transmission

I'm recent became the new owner of a 00 X5 I love this car got it for a steal (I would like to believe so) it seems I have transmission issues , and they are saying " valve body harness" but also saying its best together a used transmission instead . Which road should I take ?
