Brake job '01 330ci

I am finally the proud owner of BMW--'01 330Ci (first BMW in my family)
I have been reading the threads for a few days now and have gained a wealth of info on my car thanks to you GUYS!! Now down to business. My car is out of warranty is it had 62000miles, I need to replace brake pads both front and back as they are very low(but the sensors have not tripped yet) I've read here and also been told by the dealer that the rotors need to be replaced everytime with the pads aswell. Can the rotors just be turned if they are within thickness specs?. Also, what brake pad woulde you recommend aside from OEM(don't like the excessive brake dust from OEMs) Lastly, where can I buy OEM clear turn signals all around for a good price--will the '04s clears fit my '01 (like the '04 looks). Thanks guys

Cool

I just did all 4 wheels on mine. I was getting vibration upon applying my brakes, so I opted for new rotors. I would have anyway. The cost of new rotors is less than $50 each and well worth the investment. The pads I selected were made by Pagid. I get plenty of dust from them. Next time around I'm going to look for a lower dust pad. For about $310 in parts, I have all new rotors and pads, plus I flushed the brake fluid. Did all the work myself and it was pretty easy.

Factory rotors are pretty soft, and turning them is not recommended because the now-thinner rotor has a greater possibility of warping, especially if you`ll be driving the car *enthusiastically*.

Bob
