12,000 miles year
39 months
all fees up front
$665/month. The taxes are 2,400.13 so if the taxes were rolled in it would be like another $61/month so $726.

Unless my numbers are wrong, are Feb deals actually better than the $2,000 holiday credit?
The December 535xi deal for 39months is better than either the 535i or the 36 month deal.

Running your numbers in my spreadsheet, I get a payment of $662/mo. Switching to 36 months fand using February's rates, I get $673/mo. If this is the case, December is a better deal. It should be easy to have your dealership run the numbers for each month so that you can compare.

BTW, since you didn't mention it, I assume that you didn't get the BMW App or the Loyalty credit, correct?

I'm coming from a Mercedes so no loyalty credit. No one told me about the apps credit. I also don't have an iPhone I use android. Though I have an iPod. I think the credit was if you downloaded the app?

I download the App on my Droid, but the dealership said they were a hassle and just lowered the price by another $500, so maybe you got a good deal without it. Anyway, the 535xi lease rate in December was better than for the 535i, so I think you are making out pretty good. I tweaked my post above to clarify.

Is the app credit still available?

It was extened month to month for a good part of last year, but I don't see any signs of it still being around. You can download the BMW Ultimate Drive App and see if a special offer pops up. IIRC, a test drive was required to get the credit.

I had signed my lease paperwork on 2/4, just two days prior to my leaving for my European Delivery trip. At the signing on the 4th the cost had dropped by $11/mo since they used the residual reflecting the higher post-Jan 2nd MSRP, so I was pleasantly surprised. While I was in Germany, I saw that the February MF & residual improved, but I figured it was too late since I already signed the lease papers a week earlier. Anyway, the dealership (Northwest BMW) decided to hold onto my paperwork when they saw that the February numbers had improved, apparently the Sales Manager found out later in the afternoon on the 4th. So what does this all mean? Northwest did me a solid and lowered my payments by $80/mo. I was more than happy to re-sign the lease papers.
That's great.

Its still on the bmw web site but I think you already have to have a BMW, it says:

For a limited time, existing BMW Financial Services customers can earn $300, $500, $700 (depending on model selected) off the first finance or lease payment on a new 2012 or 2013 BMW.

The finance guys are almost always bad for the mood but they just need to be ignored. At least you dealt with a very knowledgeable and pleasant sales person.
