Spoilers

Hey guys just wondering what are the most popular trunk spoilers for our 535s? Post some pics plz

On my previous 530 I had 2 different ACS style ones from eBay - one I got paint matched the other was carbon fiber, both looked pretty good on my previous Silver Gray car. On this one I want to change things up a little, I am going with the RD SPort spoiler from Trinityautosport.com

Here are some of the old ones, I got both painted and shipped for around $180 :

The M5 trunk lip spoiler is very discrete. I got it for under $100 shipped from eBay. Seller was Chopshop something. It was prepainted and set up with double sided tape for simple diy install. Looks oem. Arrived by Fedex in under a week.

I got both my acs roof and m5 trunk lip spoiler from BMWChop also.

acs roof and m5 trunk lip spoiler from BMWChop came like an OEM part painted... I have it on mine as well and they definitely are worth it.

They are pretty good however it sucks fore since AW is super hard to match correctly. Luckily I had to wrap the roof spoiler to match my roof wrap. The trunk spoiler i haven't installed yet. I hope letting it sit in the sun will change the tint a little.

Jet Black is an exact match feels like the car had it from factory..

That is what worries me as well, on my old car Silver Gray wasn't that hard to match, but the Carbon Black? I think that will be a lot trickier, so I will bite the bullet get the spoiler painted to match.

Thanks...silver gray metallic, slightly lighter than the space gray

Those wheels look like VMR VB3's or Avant Garde, but I could be wrong

I had this same conversation re the wheels recently with another member. LOL The previous owner had them installed and I need to take them off to check the stamp to see who the manufacturer was. Both avante garde and vmr produce this style wheel as does BMW on their 'm' series. They have the little 'm' sticker on them but until I get an opp to take the wheels off to verify the make...it's just a sticker. Mabye I'll get to it this weekend...I'll keep you posted. Glad you like em!

If you are not running spacers then they are definitely not OEM wheels. They made similar ones for the 3 series, but none like that for E60 fitment. As a guess I would say they are VMR's, which are pretty nice wheels.

NICE!!!!! I have GOT to make a cardboard one with 12 tiers, that would look HAWT!!!!

You might be right pjinca. .. Could you tell me what offset(Front & Rear) should i look out for if i get a 20inch wheels..

I am having hard time judging it..

OEM offsets are +15 Front and +20 rear, I have custom 20's with M6 offsets (+18F/+22R). On the front don't go higher than +20, on the rear no higher than +25. This also will depend on the width of the wheels as well. My current wheels are 20X8.5 front, 20X10.5 rear, the fronts are pretty normal but a lot of wheel companies only make 20X10 rears for our cars. In order to go bigger you have to play with offsets, for instance a 20X11 wheel with a +20 offset will rub your strut.
