1994 850i blown head?

I beleive the head is blown, my friend was driving his 850 and it stopped runnin on the freeway after overheating. The car now makes noise when you turn the key, but it does not turn over.

any ideas, also, we are looking to sell it, what would be a reasonable offer its in pretty decent condition for its age and has the new 650 rims on it.

Tried searching other place but cant find much for this car.

i havent it is a close friend of mine, and he seems positive that the engine is blown i dont know much more about it

He won't get much for it if its not running, maybe $3-4k. Would be far better to source an engine from a salvage yard, swap it, then sell.
