Quality of a bluetooth receiver in the auxiliary connection

I installed the auxiliary input on my 2004 X5 and was very happy with it, but now I want to remove the auxiliary cable because I feel it appears sloppy hanging across the dashboard. Now, will I experience a loss in sound quality If I purchase a bluetooth receiver that will receive the A2DP from my phone (iPhone) and send it through the auxiliary input cable in my glovebox?

something like this would be used:

I just got finished posting this on another forum:

I've have the Blackberry unit (supposedly the best when I bought it -- used with iPhone), had another before that and have used a 3rd quite a bit that's in one of my son's cars.

The audio quality on all is poor. That's not poor from an audiophiles sense, its poor as in a major deterioration in SQ. To me, the pitch sounds off and there's a deterioration in presence that's very noticeable.

For convenience its good, I use it for podcasts. For music, you're way better off with the headphone jack or a line out adapter (depending on your device).

Ok thank you cleared everything up on it. Thats what I should expect for a $30 unit. Only if there was something I could do with that cable.
