Looking at a 2005 Z4 3.0i roadster with 48K miles in good /excellent condition, has automatic, upgrade sound, premium, sport, new rear brakes/rotors, new key switch in column, new roof motor, and tires above mid life. Computer scan no faults detected. Est cost $16,700. Fair and reasonable? Anything to double check? Thanks in advance.

To see if it is fair I recommend running a value on KBB.com, NADA.com and Edmunds.com as well as looking on autotrader.com. Should give you a good idea if they are priced right.
I just did a quick search on AT and it looks to me like your price is pretty fair. Dealers seem to be around 20K for that car. Last edited by chickdr; 02-26-2013 at 07:39 AM. |

I did research those resources and the suggested retail range varied significantly. Thanks for your input.

Thanks. Completed both tasks with nothing significant identified. Also got a 90 day/3000 mi power train warranty included for what it is worth.

90 Day 3000 miles? You will eat the miles up so fast you will never use that warrenty.
But the steptronic transmission has had very view issues. Pretty solid. I enjoyed mine when I owned my 04 Z. Best of luck.

That sounds like a really good price. I paid essentially the same with 63k miles and manual, but I had to have manual. The body, etc. is perfect on mine, but I do have the bad amp (just rear speakers for some reason), and bad bluetooth mech (no big deal to me).

I hope that will be the case. Ounce of protection. Just added value to the deal. Thanks.

I paid $19000 for a 2003 z4 3.0i 6 speed manual. It had 34000 miles on it. But it had the hard top, body kit , strut brace , aftermarket exhaust and new run flat tires. The previous owner also threw in the hard top storage stand and cover and a BMW car cover. He also paid to replace the top motor and switch, new belts and oil change. Oh, and mine is fully loaded? I over paid for the car a little if you don't take into consideration all the aftermarket parts. It was worth it to me to not have to go buy everything I would of probably spent about $6000-$7000, I am estimating. I think the price you quoted is fair.
