Mein Auto: BMW X3 2.8i
Want to add a few options...

Hello everyone,

I understand that I am new here and this is my first post. However, I absolutely love my BMW X3 2.8i and know a pretty decent amount about it. However, I felt that I could come here and further enrich myself!

My first question arises from a thread I saw here about replacing the tail light assembly and front turn signals with LED components. I am very interested in doing this and was wondering how involved it is.

My second concern is that I bought this car right off the dealer lot. Stupid me! It doesn't have xenons!!!!!!! Is there any way to add these?

Im sure I'll have more questions arising in the future!

Thanks

Mein Auto: A box with 4 circles
Xenons: Yes but not cost effective new. From a wrecked x3, maybe.

Led taillights: Yes, cost effective in a couple years, depends on how much the entire assembly costs or if it can be found on a wrecked X3

^requires quite a bit of time, and maybe skill

Led signals, there alot of them out there. Bimmian make a pretty good one. spend it a bit more, and they are error-free (no nagging idrive fault)

^ easy diy

Thanks for the info. I think for now I will explore my options for LED turn signals that I found in another thread here. I had a feeling that the xenons would be expensive also... Well, I gotta start somewhere I guess!

Thanks for the info.
