DSX,

Please let me know as soon as you settle on a date. I'm dead set on driving the E93 "garage queen" to NH for C2C6 in 2014, but I also have to potentially coordinate it with a Concours d'Elegance event with the parental units. The more lead time, the better.

TIA

Furby, are you crazy? Capri Sun in the front cup holder?

Kids need to sit on the rear bench and utilize the cup holder equipped on their safety seat or use the rear bench cup holders to secure their open Capri Suns.

Geez!

Take a closer look. There's a set of painted toe nails wearing women's size 5 sandals in the passenger footwell. Furby's bride may be sipping that CapriSun. Furby wears male size 10 sandals, otherwise it could be him.

Well it was a pretty boring picture until you pointed out the feet. Where the hell is a comment from "He who shall not be named?"

No, Furball was definitely the passenger in that picture. Nice flip flops and nail polish, Furball!

The car interior in the picture is an old out of style no status E9x.
Furby probably bought it with his Bar Mitvah money.

Makes perfect sense. Furball, who usually drives the car, would be confused using the cup holder on the right side near the passanger window and would probably automatically opt for the center/driver side cup holder.

Silence means approval!

I noticed that, too. I wonder if the Furbster's beverage choices have moved upscale with his ride?

Mrs. Furby's CapriSun should be in the passenger's cup holder, out of frame to the right. However we all know that one is vulnerable to collisions with knees, to the detriment of knees, car or both. This photo may be early evidence of the then-future-Mrs. Furby showing Mr. Furby "how it's gonna be"--by co-opting his cup holder!

There should be a c2c6 Sticky shortly. I will also update the climbtotheclouds.org web site and send an email blast to the c2c5 participants.

Climb to the Clouds Six

We have block of room reserved at the Omni Mount Washington for June 19-23 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights). This will be a four day event but you will be able to book Friday and Saturday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday or Friday, Saturday and Sunday if that fits your schedule better. The main events (drive on the Kancamagus Highway, drive up the Mount Washington Auto Road and the banquet will be held on Saturday June 21.

The c2c6 web site is up at www.climbtotheclouds.org

As the Omni has already started to fill up the earlier you book the better. Email info@climbtotheclouds.org to get the booking code for the group rate.

PM me or email info@climbtotheclouds.org to get the booking code for the Omni Mount Washington. It looks like the room block will fill up quickly and if everyone books enough in advance we can add more rooms to the block.

My wife and I are definite "maybes" for this. Gotta check schedules, but we'd love to join in on the fun. Not sure which car we'd bring. 335 would probably be a real treat to drive through the twisties.

Hi All. We should have a new thread going up soon, with the ability to register for the event, etc.

Please keep in mind, last year we absolutely did sell out of the hotel. If you are planning to attend this year we highly recommend to book early. Each and every year our numbers grow. This is awesome. We will have three Omni options, and eventually find a forth non-Omni option. If all you are looking for is any random place to sleep, then you can probably book later. If, however, you are looking to get into Omni then do so as soon as possible. The advantages of staying at the Omni:
1) During the drive we stop by there, so this will be an opportunity for you to change clothes, drop stuff off, take a quick nap, etc
2) After the event (and the night before) we typically hang out there drinking scotch and hob knobbing it up like a bunch of rich folk (AMEX and VISA Black card not required for entry)

Is this up to date info? Have you checked if anything has changed in the 18 months since you last attended?

For reference, I made my reservation at the main hotel yesterday. Per reservations, the number of rooms available are as follows;

Main Hotel, under 50

Bretton Arms, under 30

Lodge, under 40

Accordingly, there's a large conference scheduled for the same weekend. I agree with Furby, if going to C2C6, book soon.

Seriously, Furball's community organizer license has been suspended due to the no show stunt he pulled last year.

We booked 4 nights at the MW, done with experimenting with other options in the area...
