I'm Back

After losing my 08; to a flood, I finally found a replacement after spending 5 months in a 650i Coupe. Its a Black 2011 E93, same setup up as my 08 Dct.

Glad to be back and i wish I hadn't sold all my M3 stuff before.

I can relate ...I too almost went down the 650i path. Over the years for one reason or another I found a last minute excuse to defer my M3 purchase for some other model. On my last go around as I was finalizing the purchase of my current M3 - the GM of the dealership comes up and says "Capo - just got some "trunk" money on the loaded 650i on the floor - you can have it for only $150 more a month(lease)." Focusing on the deal, not the car - I was very tempted, but I stayed strong and deferred. This time I would not be moved - I was going to get my M3. In the end, the 650i is nice but ultimately a car you drive for awhile and then move on. As opposed to the M3, which represents a high water mark for BMW to be savored. I know after 18K sublime M3 miles I made the right choice - affirmed daily - every time I push the start button...vrroommm!

Really a different feel to the cars.

I did the 650i as well and I agree with Capobranco, it's a car you drive for a while and move on. Towards the end of my ownership I had become really bored with the car. The car had zero mods and that should have been a sign to me. The M3 was only stock during the ride across the pond ................Phil
