Little help: Style 351 wheels for 530xi?

Hi all, thanks in advance for helping. I've searched but not found the exact answer, and I'm no expert on the topic. I'm a proud father ready to hand down my 2007 530xi with sport package to my teenage son. I told him we'd spiff it up a bit, with new wheels and tires. The car currently has the stock 17" wheels, and I really like the Style 351 19" wheels. I was wondering if these would fit, and know there are other considerations besides size, like offset, and clearance for the brake calipers. Any help would be really appreciated. Also, if the 351s are not a fit, I'd appreciate and advice on something that looks similar.

When I googled the 351 they had it paired with the latest 5 series, so I am assuming that the offset would work.

Another option is there is one that looks like the one from the 6 series but made for the 5 series - am I confusing you? But I cant remember the model.

And I prefer the 6 series styling wheels because it's concaved.

It turns on what the offset is for those wheels. For the E60, the Xis required a lot more offset.

From what I have been able to determine, the Style 351 wheels appear to be usually sold as a staggered setup with a ET 33 spacing in front and a ET 44 spacing in the rear. Being that you have an xi, the offset range for you is about 36-45, so if you were to get the 351 rear setup all around, you should be golden.

1) where do you find that info on offsets for various wheels? I now know (thanks to you) that my goal is 36-45, but I do not know where to find the offset for the individual wheels.
2) another option I have been eyeing is Style 313, used for modern 3 series. I see they have both 18X8, and 18X8.5, but not sure about anything else. Thanks again for your help.

OEM wheel specs are 43 in the front, but its not required. The e60 xi can accommodate 33-55 offsets without rubbing, depending on rim and tire size. I'm on 40 in the front now, and my older setup was 35 in the front. Also lowered with plenty of clearance and no rubbing issues.

I should have posted OEM spec. requires 43 offset. Not sure about what else works. Thanks for the info. I replaced my 18" rims (now used for summer) with 17" wheels for winter driving in Upstate NY. Huge difference without the run flats in winter.

Another question: besides the offset, is the width a consideration? Some wheels are described at 8 or 8.5 in width, and I want to make sure I keep within the offset allowance, but also do not go too wide. Another important item is that I plan to put on the H&M springs to get a bit of lowering.

You can easily go with 8.5s, you won't run into issues with that. If you went wider, like 9 or 9.5 the offset would have to be adjusted to compensate. Also, the tires should be no wider than 245/35/19 - only the M5 can accommodate 255's in the front.

My fronts are +40 8.5" wide and rears are +45 9.5" wide. Running 255/40/18 and 285/35/18 and lowered on KWv3 and the fit is perfect. Before you commit to H&R springs you should audition them through someone who has that setup. Many of us had them, only to pull them off due to the ride quality.
