Restoring Hella ellipsoids
I have the original hella headlights for my 89 325i, but the lenses are so pitted and scratched, that the amount of light coming through looks weak and dull.
How should i fix up these lenses? I know i'd have to grind them down a bit, but im looking for some general guidance on the subject.

Unless you know a bloke who can polish glass - forget it. If it is the reflectors - a heat gun will allow you to take the units apart and you may find a company that re-silvers them.
