I paid 450.00 for the tips and Diffuser from a guy on Ebay. There is one on ebay now for way too much money and you have to paint the diffuser. REMEMBER - This will not fit your F01 with the stock diffuser. The quad tips are wider and taller. If you want tthe stock look, go OEM.

I am also taking my tips to get powder coated matte black - and vinyl covering the diffuser with a 3M carbon wrap! OOOOOH AAAAHHHH!!!

You got'em cheap. I got mine from the dealer and paid smt between 800-1000 for both. You also need to order the chrome strip on the diffuser as well.

The diffuser is also different for the m-sport package and non m sport package so keep that in mind as well. Did you have to shave down your stock exhaust tips for these tips to fit?

No. They are 2 separate parts entirely. Tips are larger than stock

FULL 6... Do the new quad exhaust tips mount to a subframe component of the bumper and slide on to the muffler tips? Got my parts today and will begin process next week!

OK... so I'm a bit impatient and decided to take a look myself to see how this goes together. Here's what it looks like without the diffuser on and after replacing the stock exhaust covers with the quads;

Note that I'm running the Dinan exhaust which is slightly different requiring some minor mods to the muffler hanger bracket and clearance cutouts for the exhaust tips on the bottom edge of the covers so the two don't touch and vibrate. All in all the tailpipes had to move to the center of the car by about half an inch to get everything to line up. You will probably need a grinder and small drill to make this happen. Sounds like if you have stock set up though, it should bolt right on without any modification.

Now I'm just waiting to get diffuser painted next week... it just snaps in place.

Have the same problem. Note, that if you have 750i, li, they will not fit exact, but will work.

Actually, I didn't have that problem... You have to work around the screw on the exhaust a bit but once you clear that the tabs slide right into the slots on the subframe.

Dang. Diffuser is out of stock across the country for the regular bumper. Mine is one the way from Germany. Could be another week or two. :-(
