Wow thats crazy the dealer i used said they charge 125 to go through the car aNd update everything. They told me all they do is hook the car up, go to the computer and it goes through all the modules and updates them to the latest version if necessary. Meanwhile they walk away and do other things while your car sits there on a charger getting updated.

Just had my flex disc replaced by an Indy with BMW mechanics. Seems to be much better but more driving will tell. I was told that the condition is common and that the new flex disc should help a great deal but not necessarily totally eliminate the issue. My 750 is a a 2006. $630 with labor.

Also flex disc showed sign of excessive wear at 56K miles.

I replaced the flex disc but the condition persists. Maybe not to same extent but this is still a problem. Sometimes I feel like I am being rear ended. By a car that is.

Try transmission filter and fluid change along with the mechtronics sleeve and adaptor. How many miles does your car have?

this is a known problem first you need to verify if this is a software problem or a trans problem. if you know someone with a scanner that can clear trans adaptation values do so. if problem goes away after it is a software problem. This is a short term fix and problem will come back soon but now you know where the root of the problem is. if it is a software problem there is a fox called 2-1 tip in. find someone that can program your trans for this. if not a valve body wont help you need a reman trans
