Brake lights

Hey guys,
My brake lights do not work but the one in the middle or the third light still works.

I did some research but it seems everything I find is either someone who installed aftermarket tails or did something to cause their problems. But from what I gather it is most likely the brake light switch. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thanks all and good day.

If one of the three works, it is most likely the wiring bundle going into the trunk. Slit it open carefully and patch the broken and frayed wires.

Did this come about suddenly, or do you suspect it has been this way for a long time? If your car has the check control feature, have you been getting any fault messages? And since your 3rd brake light works, I don't think it's your brake light switch.

Of course, the first thing to do is check all of the connections (harness plug into each taillight, and each bulb socket).

This was sudden. And I figured it couldn't be the switch cause the third light worked. All the lights work it is only when you use the brake that the second filaments aren't working. I have tooken it apart and things look ok but I will go through if again. I have not looked at the wiring but bulbs and fuses are good.
