Thank You

Just wanted to take a second and thank the many posters who have shared their tips and experiences with their cars. I've saved quite a bit of money and learned a lot from just browsing past threads. I just finished up with my last round of mods (who are we kidding?) and thought I'd share some photos of the E90:

Mods include: shadowline trim, gloss black grille, blackline tail lights, chrome exhaust tips, style 338 rims, and various interior details that will go unnoticed.

I want to do the same thing to my pre-LCI grill. What did you use on the grill? Everything looks mint.

Bought a new one online... Install was a breeze.

Yes, my goal is that all my mods should look like they came from the factory.

You looked at my signature, didn't you?

That's one of them. I learned that you can replace just the color-coded faces without the need to replace the entire mechanism. Only like 8 bucks.

There's a bystander in one of your pictures. LOL
Blue water metallic? If so, nice taste in color!

Beautiful car tastefully modified. Tell us more about the CDV delete, what are your impressions? (We know what it is, looking for before/after opinions.)

@furby: Sorry to tell you but you'll never get over selling your car.

@git: The chrome tips are a must-do in my opinion... Dealer sells them and they just slide right on. On that topic, does anyone have an OEM matte stainless steel tip or are the ones I see chrome that's somehow oxidized?

Bystander is just my stalker, she's harmless. She picked the color when she bought the car (I prefer white LCIs) but I ended up inheriting it when we got the E92... The color is growing on me.

@dsx: The CDV delete has made it an entirely new car. You don't get that slight shudder easing on and off the clutch in parking lots, shifts between 1-2 and 2-3 are 1000% smoother, parallel parking isn't a chore with the lag between when you slip onto the clutch and when the car moves, and you can now get the tires to chirp with the traction off. I think I covered everything.
