convertible top

I realize that a convertible will naturally be a noisier ride than in a coupe or sedan, but mine seems to be really loud. will replacing the weatherstripping do anything? I bought the car less than a year ago, and the PO says the top was replaced 2 years ago. perhaps he re-used the weatherstripping from the old top. I'm hoping that this will help. Anything that might help me quiet the cabin noise would be great. Thanks guys,

I have an 87 vert. I have a lot of wind comming in. I discovered that the little bumps on the windshield frame where you close the top handles have worn down a little. what I did was put a penny between the frame (where the little bumps are) and the handles where they lock into the frame. No more wind noise.
