M6/6-Series - Radar Detector / Laser Shifter Options

I am interested to hear what other M6 and/or 6-series owners have done and/or are doing for adding police radar detection and laser detection/shifting devices to their vehicles.

What brands have you chosen and location options on the dash, windshield or rear view mirror for placement, as well as the more expensive and effective custom installed stealth configurations. Any thoughts as well as photos would be appreciated...

Don't know if it is available in your neck of the woods but I have Stinger VIP installed in mine with duo laser detect and shifter in the front and duo at the back as well. Works well.

I checked out the Stinger VIP web site and am impressed by their clean looking and technologically sophisticated design and capabilities.

Unfortunately, they use lasers to jam laser detectors, which is illegal in the United States.

Their system is the most elegant of all that I have seen, utilizing technology for miniaturization and sensitivity. That also explains its $3,000+ cost....
