I fixed the rear panel. I took the. Panel off and then glued the leather back down. It is easier then it sounds. I did it once and never had another problem with it.

+1

If they don't cover it with CPO, just search "bowden cable" and you'll see a thread by Keif and it tells you how to remove the door panel to be able to glue back the leather. It's pretty straight forward and any strong super glue will work!

Definitely will look into it once I get answer from the dealership. They have been great about addressing the navigation crack in the glass but havent said much about the shades... That concerns me haha

Just an Update, the dealership is being great to work with and is going to replace rear shades, tack down the leather, get a new navigation disk and are replacing the entire nav unit since the screen is cracked. I could not be more pleased

I haven't done that in years. Is there an option to "View My Garage" when you move your cursor over it?

And I love Barbera Red by the way.

Driving the 750li for real estate kills me. I hate putting all of miles on it and I feel like the stop and go in the Las Vegas summer heat is really bad for the engine? What do you all think? Lol in the next year when I have some more income coming in I think I need to buy a Smart car or something black it all out and use it to show properties. What do you all think? How bad is it to drive the 750 from house to house turning it off and on in 100 degree + weather?

I know when I had my 2005 Jaguar S-type 4.2 after a day of stop and go in the heat all of the sudden it gave me Engine system Fault, Transmission Fault, DSC Fault, Park brake Fault, Cruise control not available and went into restricted performance mode. This was due to a faulty electronic signal in the throttle body however it makes me think it was due to all of the heat and stop and go that day. It only had 53,000 miles.

Can't really sell a house with a smart car can you? If it will work for you then great idea , to save the 7, but it's just a car and only money . And it's a BMW I think it can take it, but I have many cars to choose from from what I am doing that day . Mabey a mini instead ? Of a smart car??

Haha this is true... Might look a little better if I just got a lexus IS or 3 series? I just dont care for them very much compared to the 7. Figured the smart car is cheap on gas and cheap to buy. My neighbor has one that they blacked out doesnt look half bad lol

My car has been in Vegas since 2007 and it's just fine man. It turns out the realtor that sold me my house drove a 7 as well. Don't you dare switch to a smart car

That's a catch 22, as you know some buyers will look at you up and down to figure you out. If you look like you make too much they will think you don't have there best interest at hand, but if you look like a beginner they will think you don't know squat so my advice will be to give them positive advice and help and show them savings.

I think the car can take the heat and stopping/starting. You bought it to drive it right? As far as client perception goes...Its a 2008 BMW 7, while it may have had a $90K+ price tag when new you can pick them up pretty cheap now. If anything they should judge you as being frugal and paying a 1/4 of the sticker price for a 4 yr old car.
