I don't understand what you are trying to match? I added the caliper covers (with BMW writing) and there were'nt any "originals" on the car from the factory.

I don't think you can choose the font, but i went with black to match the hub of the new rotors I installed and mainly to keep the dust off the new wheels. I really didn't want additional attraction just for covers.

You probably saw the performance brakes that come as an option on the newer 3 series and 1 series.

The 6er OEM calipers do not have any lettering on them.

"411" Caliper Covers

What's the deal on caliper covers?
1. Do they really eliminate or cut-down the breaker dust?
2. Will they in any way factor in associated warranty issues, Ie. heat?
3. Which after-market source is best? MGP?
4. Anyone hooked up a '12 X5.
5. Other info?
Thinking of doing space grey or black.

Thanx!

I went with these guys:

I don't see a difference in the dust but I really like the look.
