Can you really get a 7 for 10k? If thats the case I way over paid... All of the 2008's I found were 30k+ unless they had over 70k miles

He is talking about 02,03,04s with 140k+ miles. An 08 would have to have an insane amount of miles to be at 10k!

yeah I only would go with the 08 model years just because of the certification and maintenance packages are still active on most of them but in terms of the best deal I would say 2006's wouldn't you? They have the same look as 2007 and 08's and I found a couple in the low 20's with 50,000 miles. They weren't for me but $23,000 for a 2006 750Li with 53,000 miles is pretty good versus the 2008 with the same miles being around $34,000 or so.

Age 69, I bought it for size and comfort. But there are so many in my subdivision and they are all lease cars with operators at least in their 50's.

I personally dont think we have anymore "business" people owning a 745 anymore. Most have moved on, we have a few like myself hanging on to the 750's but im sure another yr or two that will also change. The demagraphics of this forum have changed drastically over the 2 e65's I have had.

I agree with you here.

These cars are so cheap in the UK at least that I wouldn't expect any "business" people to be buying them, and they will all be selling them on if they own them.

I think there still are those kind of people owning 745's, but I doubt many older people participate in forums. Most the 745's on here look idiotic with the mods they do to them.

I think the word "business people/persons" has nothing to do with the car one drives, rather a individual preference. If that be the case one that uses that title will not drive anything older than 3yrs depending on the lease. My opinion only.

My mom who has the 2008 750I is a National Sales Manager and top sales executive in her nationwide company. I think she qualifies as a business person and in terms of myself I am 18 and work in luxury real estate and am going to be attending law school after receiving my undergraduate. The reason we purchased the 2 7 series we did was due to the great value. We have purchased brand new cars and leased brand new cars and have always ended up owing a ton in over milage fee's or just depreciation. Maybe later on we will start buying new again but getting Corporate lease cars makes the most sense at the time.

He said 745's not the 750's.. 750's are still fairly expensive and I don't blame anyone here for not wanting to buy new and lose depreciation.
