Mein Auto: 2001 M3 Convertible
M3 won't start

My battery is new and fully charged all electricals work fine, but the engine will not turn over.. is this the safety nuetral switch and if so does anyone know how to repair?

look in to your ignition switch .. If you can get some
One to diagnose it and see if there are any codes...

Common causes are bad starter (relatively high failure rate), key sync issue, ignition switch, or SMG pump. You seem to have a 6MT so skip the last one, but I would first try another key, then troubleshoot the ignition switch, and then move on to the starter.

I suggest you also edit your top post to include more detail and information about events leading up to the problem.

had the same exact issue.
And it was the started.
to confirm, hit the starter with a hammer it should start right up .
