Bumper broken

Hello guys, I wanted to ask you a question about my front bumper. I recently had a little accident on my car and the bumper is broken, or at least the lower part of it. It looks like the lower part is nearly all broken off and I just wanted to ask you if anyone knew how I could fix this,
1) do i have to replace the whole front or what?
2) What parts do i have to buy?
3) how much will it cost?

I have a picture of the front of my car, here is a link to it:

Take a picture where we can see what you are talking about.

Use realoem.com to get the part numbers

Use www.furiousmethod.com to get real world prices.

To me it looks like upper part would be still ok.

If that's the case, then you might think of this kind upgrade.

Ofcourse easiest would be if you can find some second hand bumper which is even right color already.
That picture is bit dark so i can't quite get what color your car is... but... there is this kind british site selling them for example.

thanks for the answer!!
I will definately look into that. I think the color of the second link you put in is green right?
Mine is actually black, but I would be able to paint it in a local factory here. Just wandering if it will be more expensive than buying a new one, not sure on that :P

They have other colors also.
Painting is bit extra trouble, but need to be very lucky to find one already right color.

new bumper

Since you're in Iceland, I'm not sure how much shipping will cost for a new bumper.
I bought a new bumper for my 325XI from California and it cost $70 to ship it to Washington DC. It came from Umnitza, and they even painted it before shipping. I just had to bolt it on.

But a choice that you have that nobody has mentioned is repairing your existing bumper.
It's broken low on the bumper, and even a clumsy repair will not be easily noticeable.
If you work carefully, you could have a virtually invisible repair for a few dollars. It's hard to see by your photograph if any pieces are missing, but that tends to support my case that a repair might be feasible. It just depends on what you want, your skill level, and your tolerance for financial outlay!!

Good Luck, whatever you decide!
