What size tires are they?
So, I do not know what size tires to get. The tires on my car say P215/50 R17, but when i search for them on Pepboys or Amazon.com. They give me size 16" tires instead. I do not have the Sport Package. Either the previous owner replaced them with a new set of tires but I am not sure. Also, I have a 2000 328i.

The PO probably put 17s on the car. 225/45/17 would be a good size replacement.

What is a good brand? I was thinking about going with either BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, or some Goodyear's. Are there any that you recommend? Michelin is a bit too expensive for my budget.

I'm on General G-MAX AS-03 right now. They have a long tread life, pretty good grip, and weren't expensive. They're classified as an all-season performance tire and they grip in the rain quite fantastically.
