Headlight question?

I bought a 08 328i from copart auto auction. So of course it is wrecked. The car came with the dynamic driving xenon headlights. Both of the headlights are damaged, and the oem replacements are very expensive. I was looking at the cheaper replacements on ebay. But i dont know if they will give me a error. Has any one already experienced this problem. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I bought mine from a used car dealer and the driver headlight was damaged. The dealer replaced both headlamps with aftermarket from eBay and now blinkers, high beams and adaptive don't work.... All kinds of error messages pop up... I haven't taken it apart and looked myself but sales guy claims there isn't proper hook up for everything with after market. I'm driving around with one headlight only working on low beam and no front blinkers while waiting for the OEM light to come in so the car lot have it fixed. I'm glad the fog lamps work... That said, I noticed when I popped the hood today that their wonderful mechanic never reconnected (what I'm assuming is) the breather/air filter box and hoses. It's been two weeks and I just noticed. Won't make that mistake again.
