E46 2005 330XI Style 124 wheels...help
Hello I am looking to sell my Style 124 wheels off of my 2008 535XI.
A local guy wants to buy them for his E46 2005 330XI but we both are not sure if they will fit. My 124 wheels are off the X 5 series so they are: Mine: ET 43 Fronts and ET 55 Rears off set. His: ET 47 Fronts and ET 50 Rears off set. The front wheels I am selling are 8 inch in the front and the real oem calls for 8 inch fronts for the 330XI so we are good there. The rears I am selling are 9 inch and real oem calls for 8 1/2 wheels, would there be a problem there? As far as tires go my wheels call for: 275/35 R18: For the rear two wheels 245/40R18: For the front two wheels Would this wheel and tires package fit up nicely on a 2005 330XI? Or would the wheels fit, but he would have to get a different tire set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Your Style 124 wheels will fit the E46, but the 275 rear tires will probably rub somewhere. He`d probably have to go with maybe 245 or 255s out back.

Using this tire calculator:
http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php If this guy puts 245/40/18: For the front two wheels And 255/40/18: For the rear two wheels It will be within 3% and it should fit and drive nicely on the 2005 330XI, correct? |
