Mine took 52 days if it arrives at the dealer on the 14th. That is from order date of February 21st. yours should come quicker since the cars are already in productions.

I'm really johnsing to get mine. I opted for PCD and didn't realize at the time that this would really slow down the delivery process. My car came in on the California Highway, which docked in Baltimore a week ago. My dealer is about 2 hours from Baltimore. Had I chosen dealer delivery, I probably would have been able to pick it up this weekend or sometime during this week. But, not so with PCD. With PCD, they won't schedule until a few weeks out from unloading. In any event, they proposed April 26 as a delivery date (I wanted a Friday so that I can enjoy the drive back up over the weekend without missing more work) but I was unavailable that week. So, I ended up scheduling pickup for May 3. Hope PCD was worth the delay in delivery!

I noticed that my Standard Equipment list for the 2014 X1 ordered says LED Taillights...
Is that all the taillights or just the center taillight?

Safety and security

Head Protection System (HPS), front and rear

LED brakelights

Driver's and passenger's front airbag supplemental restraint system (SRS) with advanced technology: dual-threshold, dual-stage deployment; and front-passenger seat sensors designed to prevent unnecessary airbag deployment

Front-door-mounted side-impact airbags

BMW's Advanced Safety System for integrated deployment of passive and active safety features

Automatic-locking retractors (ALR) on all passenger-seat safety belts (for installation of child-restraint seats)

Central locking system with center console switch (leaves gas filler door unlocked), double-lock feature and 2-step unlocking

Coded Driveaway Protection

Front safety belts with automatic pretensioners

Crash sensor that activates Battery Safety Terminal disconnect of alternator, fuel pump and starter from battery; automatically unlocks doors, and turns on hazard and interior lights

Daytime Running Lights

Anti-theft alarm system

The term "brakelights" is a little bit misleading because I think they are referring to the running lights as they are LED. The 2013 standard equipment list on the BMW site says led brake lights as well and the brake weren't LED in 2013. I hope I am wrong because I would love LED brake lights.

You are probably right, they might be referring to the center brake light,

I'm pretty sure BMW has been using LED brake lamps on all vehicles since the mid/late 2000s (going all the way back to the E46 and E39 LCIs). I had to have entire assemblies replaced several times on our 2009 128i and 335i due to defects. Our 2013 X1 appears to have LED lamps.

I can say that this certainly isn't true for the X5 (E70). I had a 2010 and a 2011 and neither one had LED brake lights. They had LED running lights in the rear but the brake lights and turn signals were regular bulbs. Same is true for the X3.

I must just be thinking of the running lights then. Thanks for clarifying.

Unhappy

Was scheduled to pick up my '14 this Thursday, but just got an email from my dealer saying that BMW had a hold up of cars at the port in Baltimore. They had a ton of cars shipped in at once and there were not enough trucks to transport them all out. They think it might arrive on Monday. Pickup on Tuesday maybe?

That' reallys too bad.

And I can't help but wonder how long ours will be held in port. The Talsiman docked in Baltimore early Monday morning.. The Honor was already at the WW docks, so tht's two really big ships unloading BMWs.

How long was it from the day production finished until it arrived at your dealer?

It's more than I had hoped for....hardest part was we had a return trip home from the dealer of 1.5 hrs of mixed Interstate and country back roads and trying to observe the break-in limits!

Hardest part was driving it? Or driving it with break in limitations
