Random speedo death!!
So, I replaced my Odometer gears with the garagistic kit. Thats finally working again. But here's my issue: After driving the car for about half hour or so, my speedo will randomally die and drop to zero. I have to finger around the back of the plug and push and play with the wires on the back of the cluster to get it to work again. I went to the junkyard and replaced the yellow, blue, white slip on lock connectors that the plug goes into. Still no good. Not sure what else to do besides re-wire the connectors hoping that will resolve the issue. Anybody having this problem? It's very annoying because I can't buy a new driver kick panel till I resolve this issue, otherwise I can't finger the back of the cluster.

have you tried the gear in the tranny/diff?
