"Rusty" brakes?
It looks like rust on the brakes, should I be concerned? Any recommendations?

Perfectly normal.
If you don't like it you can mask off the rotor contact area and clean all the rust off and paint the areas of the rotor (the hat area) with rust proof paint. All BMWs do that...
