yea it was a good deal, my cousin deals with the guy alot because he lifts the head on his mk4 supra every time the boost gauge hits 35psi and the car makes 990whp lol

so he hooked it up, real cool guy he told me any machine work I needed to bring it on down he'll take care of it, I have a feeling If I brought him another head it might be around 240-250 with the same treatment he gave mine, he tells me he sells the 400 casting (m50 head) all day for 800-950 in the condition he gave it back to me in and he usually charges 360ish for the work he did to my head.

Hmmm nice. I'm not yet sure what I wanna do with the s52 yet. But that might be on the list.

I guess we'll see where I'm at come dyno day

When I checked compression during the swap it was tight. I think 10 psi total variation.

I was going top mount, but I couldnt fit an hx40 up top unless I spent heavy money on a manifold, you already pulled your kit off the car?

Just picked my head up from the machine shop! Fresh valvestem seals installed also

paid 180 with the tip

I am taking it out very shortly

I think CJ means when he swaps it to his new body. Remember that was his plan? A clean shell to drop the S52 into?

I remember that, but it sounded like he meant soonish, as in going back into the current offroad body

Nah, I could run the s52 on 3 cylinders and I would do any worse in rallycross. I'm less than 50% throttle the whole time.

Anyway, I'm done with rally for the season. The Bilstein coils and ACS reps are going on the car in a couple weeks.
