2004 X5 Pricing

My neighbor is selling his black on black 2004 4.4i X5. He said he would give me a really good deal of 45K. It only has 3,400 miles on it, and it has pretty much every option except for navigation. Is this a good deal? What would a car like this normally go for?

That's a very good deal. I'd take it . In fact if you don't want it, tell him I'd buy it...if it truly does have every option except for the navi.

I second that opinion, and I am in Illinois as well. Will pick up that car in a heartbeat. That's HUGE savings over the cost of the new one. I just paid $46k for new '04 X5. 4.4 is $10k more. I do smell SOMETHING fishy, as people rarely want to lose/spend $10k like that.

Price is TOO low. Check that vehicle carefully. Something doesn't smell right. The dealer will inspect the car for you and run diagnostics from the engine computer.
