Can anyone tell me what this hanging piece is?
I parked my car and while I was walking away, I looked at my car and I noticed this.

Looks like it's your front spoiler: part #34 in the diagram.
![]() $15 to replace.

That part just slips into the bottom edge of the front end,, really easy to put back in, When u get too close to a wheel stop or a curb in parking lot, it knocks it off..it will slip right back in...

In other countries it looks very different, it looks like a front lip. (Such as mine) |

I replaced mine about 6 weeks ago; lip costs less then $15. A few days ago I noticed that it is pushed back and out of shape on the passenger side. Considering removing it and leaving it off. How much ground effects could it produce at speeds of 80MPH and less? Or does it help in cooling?

What is the part for? How does it benefit the car?

It's there for aesthetics only, no functional use.
