'09 335ic radio cuts in and out

The radio sound will occasionally cut in and out, a few seconds at a time, in my 2009 335ic. Each time it does this, the display changes, alternating between station frequency and station name, which it normally does at a set frequency, but does it also when the cutting in and out is happening which is at random intervals.

This problem only occurs during the winter, on cold days. It does not happen on every cold day however. It does this on both AM and FM. It does not do it on CD. I don't think it does this on satellite.

The dealer has tried software updates without any improvement.

In my Internet searches, I find reference to this issue on a Canadian site, but no follow up resolution was posted.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and been able to solve it?

I can sometimes induce this condition as follows:

Start car on cold day with radio on.
Immediately turn on heated seat and heated steering wheel.
Even though windows are up, simultaneously pull up on front window switches (both) at same time.

This sometimes induces the problem of the radio cutting out.

Can anyone duplicate in an '09 335?
