Pairing my cellphone

Hey, guys, could you please tell me how I can pair my Motorola Atrix with my 2007 328i. My car doesn't recognize my phone at all. Any suggestions?

Hope it works out for you.

The BT module is under the trunk floor. My SA told me that a common cause of failure is water intrusion. In fact, when I was having similar issues, the dealer checked the car for that issue.

I hate to ask the obvious question, but am a big believer in KISS when it comes to car faults. You do have your phone set to pairing mode (verified), right?

Does your phone see anything after you set the car to "BT add a phone" (or whatever it is called) and the phone to "pairing mode"? In terms of diagnosing the issue, it would probably be a good idea to try a different phone (friend, neighbor, significant other) just to see if the car is transmitting or not. If another phone can find the car, your next step should be with your phone before you take it in.

Thank you for your response. I tried my wife's cellphone as well as my own, and still no response.
