Check your iDrive - that pic means a service is due!

This is the indicator light for vehicle service inspection check. The link below is a guide to all the different symbols.

There should be a corresponding message/error on the iDrive. Go to check-control and tell us what error message is stored.

Well that sucks! You can have your key "read" by a dealer to pull any condition-based services that are required at this time. As someone posted this alert is a simple "inspection" but later more involved services will be alerted as well. And after they are done, the alerts will have to be cleared or they will continue to annoy you every time you start your car.

I just got that error message this morning. In my Idrive it says "Increased battery Discharge" or something along those lines. But after grabing some lunch and starting the car again the message and the symbol disappeared. Dunno why but don't have a good feeling either :-(

Time to change your battery before it leaves you stranded.
